The Anglii web site exists to support re-enactors interested in the early Germanic groups of the migration period and to provide a quick reference source on some topics not usually covered by other re-enactment web sites.

It includes articles, maps and photographs but does not attempt to provide comprehensive coverage on any specific topic. It aims to bring to the attention of the visitor aspects that he or she may find useful or of interest and, where possible, links to additional information are provided.

Much of the content is drawn from Continental sources, books, periodicals and museum catalogues etc. but some pages are contributions by specific authors. Where applicable, these are indicated in the vertical section menu on the left. Navigating between the various sections is via the horizontal menu above.

Many re-enactors are committed to using museum quality replica equipment. Examples of this work can be seen on several pages within this site and in the gallery in this section.
